Booked...2014

It's the 2nd of January and I already can see my photography calendar booking up nicely for 2014...

I've lived in Nebraska all my life and have never once experienced the Sandhill Crane migration along the Platte River in the Spring. It's something National Geographic calls "one of the greatest wildlife phenomenons in North America".

Not only am I planning on experiencing it in 2014, I'm looking forward to doing it up close and personal! I'm very, very fortunate for the opportunity to experience and photograph the migration from a photo blind placed in close proximity to the Cranes on the Platte River. It's an overnight stay in the blind as to not to disturb the wildlife; trust me time will fly by...

Thanks to Chuck Cooper, longtime friend and CEO of Crane Trust for this incredible opportunity!

As for a photo expedition to Haines, Alaska we'll have to wait and see...
